Have you ever had one of those days when you just want to be left alone? Today was one of those days for me. I walked into my office and immediately had to rush into a meeting (okay I won't mention that I was running running 30 minutes late) to give and listen to the exact same briefing that I delivered and heard last week regarding "contract status". Today, however, it was brutally painful. I just wanted to jab my pen in my ear so I could drown out the voice of....well I better keep that to myself just in case she reads this post. LOL
After the meeting, I rushed (and by rushed I mean slowly walked down the hallway LOL) back to my office to attack the growing pile of requests on my desk. If only the emails would just stop coming I actually could complete one task. However it felt like the more I accomplished the longer the list grew. WTF And of course, everything was due by COB. Where is that Staples "Easy Button" when you really need it.

I was finally able to leave the office at 7:30 pm and managed to chop my mountain down to a small hill. And the best part is that I get to do it all over again tomorrow. Yeah me!
Seriously folks, I am Blessed to be employed. I just needed to vent for a few minutes. Today was tough but at the end of the day, I still have a smile on my face! And that is all that really matters. I invite you to sing along with the voices in my head...."I love my job! I love my job!, I love my job!" LOL
Peace & Love,
Rae
Doesn't it feel great to be ALIVE! lol
ReplyDeleteWell hell you just had one of those day, but what happens when you those days EVERY day. I swear I have a new manager and if he sends me one more email about the dumbest thing, I am going to drop a stink bomb in his office to represent what I really think about him. Anyways........I got the remix for you, I love my job, I love my job toooooooo" urkaurkaurka....(oh that's me scratching)
