Injustice, inequality, abuse, neglect, hatred and disrespect are some of the things that may disturb or anger you. And when you find these things in the communities where you live, work and play, your first instinct may be to voice your concerns or complaints to your community leaders. We expect our cries to be heard and actions rendered to correct those things that we believe are wrong. Every decent person would like to live and work in a community that is clean, resourceful, safe and beautiful, but I ask you this one very simple question; Have you looked at the, Man (woman) in the mirror?
Change must first happen from within. You can not change the world or your community, if you have not made the necessary changes within yourself. Are you filled with anger, hatred or jealousy for your neighbor? Are you lazy? Fearful? Hypocritical? Are you unforgiving? Insensitive? or Disrespectful? If you are filled with any type of negative behaviors, then it will be very difficult for you to make changes in the world around you. Be the change that you want to see in others. It is then and only then can you effectively make the desired changes in your community.

About Me
- Rae
- I am a native of New Orleans but currently live in the DC metro area. The things that I enjoy the most in life are photography, lending a helping a hand to those around me, traveling, cooking, and the taste of great wines. I believe that life should be lived out loud and that the greatest tradjedy is to not live your life to the absolute fullest and that you should do so without fear of failure to just simply try.
